Bimetal hammer is a kind of hammer which made by two kind of different materials. The non-working area usually made by carbon steel or alloy steel, which have lower hardness but have every good tenacity, when working in hammer crusher, it can have better performance than manganese steel or chrome iron material. The working area usually made by chrome iron material, with more than 58HRC hardness. Chrome iron material with good hardness give much advantage on breaking the raw materials.
By using different kind of materials, we can make full use of the advantages and features of different materials, and get better performance on the hammers. Till now, this kind of hammers been widely used on cement plant, power generation plant and other industries, getting good performance. From some of customers feedback, by this kind of hammer they can reach twice working life of their hammers. Through the price for such hammers is higher, but it is still a better cost effective choice.
